Half Past Two

Half Past Two

A Poem by Nankoto
"

Trying to release my emotions, was down about my past relationships and this came to me.

"

It’s half past two

And he’s just getting up

All alone again

Shes been gone for days

But it feels like hours

Oh how the time passes by

How much longer can it be

Till he can find love again

No longer can he feel

No longer can he cry

Whats become of him

See what shes done

Going through days

Like some zombie

All emotionless and hurt

Someone find him

Someone save him

Let him be free once more

Release all his pain

And rescue him from himself

Let him be free once more

It’s half past two

And its been years

Since he felt a thing

People say they know

His pain

But how can they

Be telling the truth

When they’ve lied before

Oh how the days go by

And their cards just keep adding up

With all their apologies

But what did they do

When shes the one who killed him

Through those years of suffering

Has it finally come to an end

Someone find him

Someone save him

Let him be free once more

Release all his pain

And rescue him from himself

Let him be free once more

Through all his times of struggle

Through all his times of pain

All he can do is write

Some lost poet

Who wants nothing more than love

In this desolate

Thing called life

Someone find me

Someone save me

Let me be free once more
