What a great poem! I really liked the flow and tone of the poem. Facing the darkness alone with courage and bravery is a very bold thing to do... fantastic poem! :D

And just when the poem was starting to get interesting, you got to turn it into something lovelable, more like a promise that's being made to a loved one. Or what a knight would say to his lady princess just before he went off in search of the dragon.
