Great One

Great One

A Poem by Nankoto
"

So, I was doodling in my notebook during school and ended up drawing something like a sorcerers staff. That gave me the idea for this poem, I'm a fiction book nut hehe.

"

The hateful gaze

Of the Great One

Burns down upon the barren landscape

Smoke billows up from the many sinkholes

The stench of burning flesh still lingers

From the battle that took place long ago

But

He has done it

He conquered the world

No one else shall rise against him

And yet

The Oracle he put to death

Predicted his death

On the tip of a blade

Always wary and on the watch

His mind untangling more everyday

Until his death

Nicely done! The forseeing of his death in later time, and waiting, once again, for a new challenge to come...his own judgment day. I agree with the Captain. Great work!

I like this piece. The orical put doubt into his mind and now that he has conquered all, there is still that doubt he will die by the sword. Great job!!!
