1) CALICO
moonlit calico
canvas of orange, black, white
purrfect lunar sight

2) GINGER
ginger blur zooms by
pursuing toys on catnip
curtains left in shreds

3) RAGDOLL
cuddle bug kitty
fluffy tail and gentle soul
chirruping ragdoll

4) BLACK
lady of mystique
eyes are yellow harvest moons
stalks prey in shadow

5) TUXEDO
fancy feline charm
a distinguished gentleman
meowing in my arms

You got the syllable count accurate. But these days Haiku and Senryu aren't held to that standard.
These are so much fun....love the charcoal one in the pic.
I am a cat person....have always had a cat since I was in seventh grade.
Have Torti now...great personality and very sociable...
I had lots of company as I was recovering from my heart surgery...and she pretty much welcomed everybody who came by.
I especially like "a distinguished gentleman" in your last one.
