Loss of Hope

Loss of Hope

A Poem by JamesTleBourn
"

A newborn, innocent dove crawling / Out of the delicate and infant nest / Only to be sent deathly sprawling

"

A newborn, innocent dove crawling

Out of the delicate and infant nest

Only to be sent deathly sprawling

An alabaster rose being embraced

By the crippling flame as it tries

To escape the impending waste

Day wide closure initiated by sunset

But interfering in the apricot apex

Grey clouds being a visual threat

I am freely taunting my tired imagination

With mellifluous memories of you

Why do I do this to myself in our situation

About
Am I new? Yes. How old am I? Why would I ever say. Where do I live? Like it says: the Canadian bit of Antarctica. Will I accept read requests? I guess *shrug* as long as you comment on my stuff.. more..
