The Wait

The Wait

A Poem by Nathan Daniel
"

My first post. I am a nube so go easy on me. I like to hear what my writing means to you, as I find it incredible how something I write from my heart can have personal meaning to someone else.

"
Of pain and suffering. Reminders of a journey traveled. Reminders of a life changed.
Present realities of past consequences. How far I have come.
To love again. Opened heart, opened mind, a soul awakened.
Of pain and suffering. My souls desires, not yet realized.
I wait. With haste, I wait.
If insanity be my condemnation… Call me mad. For madness has taken hold, and its grip is strong.
I dare not fight it. I wait… with a heart of haste, I wait.

Criticism is welcome as I really want to become a better writer and I have no idea what I am doing. Just writing from my heart.
