Stop the begin

I want to stop this before it begins

Empty my secret box of all its sins

I carry a shovel over my heart

I’ve buried so much, oh where to start

These green shiny eyes fade dark and grim

Looking out there I’m waiting on them

It isn’t a lie if you fool the right guy

Just more time for me to skate by

Just one more time just one more day

That’s all I need that’s what I always say

But In the end all I took

Was one big sigh and one last look

Jagged sharp breaths face smeared with burning tears

Time to face my lies and sin compiled over years

I wish I could stop this and make it all end

I wish I could halt this fatal begin

yes we can tend to tell lie after lie after lie but at some point the lies start to catch up with us and the more you lie the more you have to cover you lies you told telling even more lies. some are good at lying and others aren't so good and can't keep it going nice read here on one struggling with lies as always keep writing fellow writer.
