Can I Be Your Mannequin?

Can I Be Your Mannequin?

A Poem by The Lovely Sound Of Crashing

These eyes,
Have recorded scars!
This mind,
Has been through crashed cars!
These hands,
Are painted in regrets!
This heart,
Feels so meaningless!

Can I be your mannequin?
You can put me in any position...
As long as I don't have to know these emotions!
I don't want to know about the words you've spoken!

I might as well be one,
Doesn't it seem okay?
You like to choose what I wear
And put me on display.
Make me look bad,
Or sport the latest fad.
My feelings of woe
Will never be known!

Can I be your mannequin?
You can put me in any position...
As long as I don't have to know these emotions!
I don't want to know about the words you've spoken!

And when you're done with me,
You can just break me apart.
Put me in a box and push me to the back!
When you're done with me!
You can just throw me away!
Cause I know you'll have a new model to display!

But for now...

Can I be your mannequin?
You can put me in any position...
As long as I don't have to know these emotions!
I don't want to know about the words you've spoken!
