Golden🌃

Golden🌃

A Poem by supernova_thoughts

Curiosity gets the best of me
Especially when its night
Usually around 3AM
That is the time you feel the loneliest in life
3Am gets the best of me
Especially when I’m down with my thoughts
And suddenly it’s so loud
That is the time when I feel most free

I think darkness is getting a hold of me
Slowly shooting up to my ceiling
Where I’ve aligned my stars
I think I can see them now
The thoughts that were in my head
Just now
Are now written on the walls in gold

I’m not a math head
But I can calculate
The probability of this night turning
Golden
I was afraid
Now I’m not
I was brave
Now I’m not
Now I am meek
‘Cause I believe

I believe what?
I believe this
I believe there’s no good and bad
There’s just this way and that
Who are we?
To judge what is right
And what is not?
How do we know what we do is certain?
Where is the line?

All this was running now
In my mind
I can see them right now
On my ceiling at 3Am
Bright and bold
In Golden
