Affection

Affection

A Poem by Shane William
"

So this is really old. It always stuck with me, despite the one it's about hasn't.

"
She's milk,
Butter and honey
Upside my head
Down the back of my throat
Squeezing sweat
Out the pores
of our bed sheets
She's perfume
Wrapped up nicely
In a waxed coated
Glass bottle
She's crowned
All blackened in the
Inside of a white pearl
She waits
Floating around in honey
In a messy sea of
Bodily fluid and
Affectionate kisses
She's a pistol
Smoking from the mouth
The cause
Of a million riddles
She's fornication
In disguise
Playing tricks
On the synchronized
She's the three
That completes my five
She is focus
Coming into view
A snapshot of the
Morning image
Igniting shadows
She's the rain
Promising to fall
To come back up side down
I'm the puddle
From which she gathers

I'm not even sure where to begin with how incredible this. This is drenched with sensuality and desire. I looooove this; it's a stunning poem. Your use of metaphors and word choice makes this wonderful. Well done!

This is so cute, so metaphorical. It flows together well, and has a deep sense of emotion.
