Echo

Echo

A Poem by Jamie Charbonneau
"

A Re-Add from before the great Writer's Cafe wipe...

"

your echo in my bed
reverberates
resonates
singing through springs
sinking through fabric
where your heat
lingers still

an imprint of you
silken sheets entangled
conformed to your shape
traces of cologne
your redolent signature
all belying the fact that
you aren't here
