shadows

i sit in the shadows

watching night and day

hoping it will all go away

i fight and pray

for tomorrow to be a better day

i hold it all near

everything thats dear

i cry hoping no one will hear

i hope to find the way out

as darkness seeps about

a sudden noise

i thought i was alone

i was wrong

in all hopes to be gone

i didnt feel you near

filled with fear
