Inspiration was He

Inspiration was He

A Poem by Neurotic Scoot

As she fell into a blissful trance,
Darkness engulfed her on this lonely night.
But lustfully she rekindled her romance
With Freedom, Opportunity and Plight.

While her past crumbled slowly,
She looked out at the universe, naked.
Her heart but lived on inexhaustibly
After the deadly storms abated.

As morn drew close, so did He,
Bringing a miracle of dawn,
In a moment, in love with him was she,
But in another, he was gone.

Thanks @Alex Ryder for your comment.
Could you please point out where exactly it is disconnected so that I can improve upon it?

Pretty good poem, though slightly disconnected. Good job!

Yes is nice, it describes an interesting scenario as an introduction to a story.
