Cut Short

Cut Short

A Poem by Neville

Cut Short

Their love

though unhurried

left something of a bitter taste

upon both the palette and the tongue …

Yes indeed,

it seemed, their love

was exhausted long before

their journey together had officially begun …

I understand every word here dear Neville, it would be a great burden to carry, but what's written with fate is already written, I feel sad for them but I do know that they know it's how things should be and they are contented as they walk the painful journey.
