Psithurism Interludes

I think I might just soon, share something of an exquisite secret ..

Psithurism Interludes

 

One day perhaps

I want

and shall, invite

you, into

an open glass

fronted room

with ocean view

and you

will lay with me

there ..

On top of both

our hastily

discarded robes

and where

beneath a navy

spiralled,

Van Gogh sky ..

You may 

choose to watch

and feel

me resurrect

against

the backdrop

of a gentle and oh’

so rhythmic

psithurism ..

Both more than

merely

grateful to a very

welcome breeze ..

Yet still

keen to leave each

of those dead

and drying

orchestral leaves

outside

our deliciously

and deliberately,

unlocked open door ..

I can not for the life of me Neville, understand why this poem hasn’t got more reviews, so I hope a second visit might send it spinning round the forum again. Apart from being so sensual, it also speaks to me of freedom. Open doors and open skies. And the exquisite secret?

Psithurism here, psithurism there, psiturism everywhere.
