and me

all have at least

two things

in common ..

among which are

an intense,

shared

fear and mutual

contempt for

almost everything

human ..

except for poetry ..

we all have

a thing about poetry ..

"I find to my amazement that the more I love mankind as a whole, the less I love man in particular.” Dostoyevsky said this and I find it true for myself as well. A great write with much hidden here. The not real fearing what is real is a paradox similar to looking in a mirror and fearing the image not the reality. Poetry like a monster is not real but is the mirror or what is real and yet I love it not fear it. And I have a theory that all myths, or legends have a kernel of truth at their beginning just like poetry does.

People can be the scariest thing on earth. We do so many cruel, bizarre, completely horrific things to each other and to all the other species that surround us so being afraid of people isn’t an unrealistic fear at all.

Ahh yes all the mythological being do love poetry for there are so many pieces written about them. Poetry makes them real and famous 😊

I look for similarities. It is so negative to focus on differences. Sort of nit picking. That’s quite a crowd you hang out with, so very much off the planet. Always good to have something in common. Poetry isn’t just something though, it is a way of life. You are a real thinker aren’t you Neville.
