 listen, the reason I am still here

   and not elsewhere ..

is because, I don’t want you to

   think you have won ..

I’m just biding my time waiting

for the right moment

to arrive before I share you with

friends, in glorious colour,

   

stereo and cool black and white ..

Interesting poem. I don’t agree with its contents. Revenge and retribution conjure up too much negativity for me. The best way of dealing with someone who has inflicted pain on you, is to move on in life and forget them. Those last few lines are a bit sinister, a bit chilling. Sounds like it could be another client. Another day at the office. Good wet mane my friend. What a storm last night.
