Twisted

Twisted

A Poem by Melbell19
"

Just an old poem.

"
Sometimes things move too fast.
Like that car you see speeding down the highway, passing right by you. And you know that if they don't slow down they will end up in a wreck. A heap of scrap metal that is barely recognizable and twisted limbs and broken bodies.
That's how you were. You moved too fast and passed me by. And now you have a broken heart and twisted mind. And I am not much better.

A lonely cry for all of us who've ever felt left behind.

I think it would read smoother and with better rhythm if you broke the poem down line by line and maybe formed it into a couple of stanza.

I am 20. I am a really horrible speller, and if it weren't for spell check I wouldn't be able to write. I never thought I could write poetry that people actually like, so thanks for the amazing review.. more..
