A New Dawn

A NEW DAWN

  

The wind blows through the trees,

 clouds cross the sky,

 

The sun warms my soul until my heart is whole.

 

Once again I’m lost in my hopes and dreams.

 

The chill of the summer breeze lightly brushes my skin,

 

I feel refreshed.

 

A new day is dawning, a new story is waiting to be written, and my pen is firm in my hand.

 

 

 

 

I have so much to give and I’m going to give it, I have a dream and I’m going to live it

 

for this is a new dawn, it’s my time to shine, shine as bright as the stars against the night sky.

Very pretty.

No part of the poem lost meaning, or weakened the writing, and all parts flowed very nicely.
