I Have Not One

With all my pounding heart's desire,
I cast my eyes away from her.
For though her love's a burning fire,
I have not one, I cannot err.

She may cry out her voice to me,
Yet I can't hear her desp'rate sound.
She may burst out all of her plea,
For lost in love, she won't be found.
