Wonderland

Wonderland

A Poem by Nicalus

Emotions bursting in shattered flames

Misunderstood for speaking truths

Virtuous ego

Self-serving drive

You cripple me with words of regret

Can’t you see me?

I stand here clear

Always In a state

A state of pain

The sensory tingle that creeps up my spine

The hindering mind block

That turns my wheels

The Aquarian truths that weave my nerves

Intersecting briefly

So fleeting when it makes way to truth

I thought you knew me

I thought you saw my truths

And yet again…

I am alone…

Restless and cannot sleep

3:33

It ticks

And my mind continues to race

With thoughts

And pain

I struggle to silence it

I fight to stay strong

Which in turn just seems…wrong

I can’t

I don’t want to

I thought he knew me

…he left

What is this?

A sensory curse

A lifetime hex

Eternity vexed

Can’t you see me?

I stand before you

In New Emperor’s clothes

I am not hiding

In Wonderland

I travel

Distant yet close by

I am always there

Big

Or Small

Sipping my tea and waiting

Someone here

Must understand

WHOoooo Are YOUuuu?

I travel

Searching for the one

Someone

To understand

Yet through the Looking Glass

I only find myself

Face to face

With the same journey

Poor Alice.
