...3.28.17...

A Poem by Nicki21

...They just want to model, In the club serving bottles; Fiending for likes from the squad, flaunt it all regardless of what follows.
Cry for attention, take ya dough on the low; They'll do it all for the show
Blinded by body, tripping off a smile, your little girls at home looking up, you think this image is worth the while?
Men glorify this shell of a women; letting young girls know their path has already been chosen.

...But wait, there's men just as fake; steal from the innocent convincing themselves its theirs to take.
Killing innocent children due to street code, the laws of the hood can turn a man so cold.
Women glorify this shell of a man, justifying "he does this for us, he's a family man".
Young men dying trying to be something their not, trying to impress the block, because they feel that's all they got.

...Generation by generation we as a whole deteriorate, our youth is so consumed by this new age vanity they feel education can no longer generate. Now it's all about "getting to that bag" by any means necessary. Forgetting to live as humans, just trying to become something "legendary"
