My True Home

My True Home

A Poem by NightMoves
"

Past Poem sparked by disappointment, yet optimistic in the sense. (9/2/2014)

"
Home is not just a place,
It is the feeling of belonging,
And knowing where to retreat to
When the Devil has all of the sorrow he is bringing.

Although, this is quite tough when
You have a missing feeling,
And you yearn for your long-term home.
The one that requires your kneeling.

You take her hand and hope
That she yearns for your hand too.
Thus, that moment she does
You thank God for a love so true.

Although I have not found my true home,
I keep in search with an open mind.
I thank God for unanswered prayers,
And the love I am destined to find.
