A Poem by K

The face of innocence stands before me
With a pretty face and a beautiful smile.
Coaxing words to give her trust,
To tell all, and be unburdened.
So words are spoken and exchanged,
The words can never be unspoken.
Then she turns to another and breaks the vow,
Slandering all but herself.
And then she drags me down to hell.
Her siren lullaby she sings over me.
