![]() Easter Egg HuntA Poem by Nika Pronina
On a lovely sunny day, I walk in the garden
Butterflies, birds, bees fly, Tulips, daisies, daffodils smile, Everything's sparkling in the sun! I hear strange noises behind roses, I try to see who is there fusses and rustles? His ears are big And the tail is cotton. He is all white and furry from his head to his paws, He has whiskers and a pink nose! His feet look soft He eats a carrot And jumps around so funny! Oh, I know! That is Easter Bunny! Easter Bunny winks and says: There are ten eggs in the garden, That I've brought you And hidden all over around. And away he hops, His paws pat, His tail wiggles, His ears flop. One egg is under the oak. It's with stripes and green, The second one is behind the bushes It has stars and it's pink! Two eggs are inside the flower bed, Both are purple and dotted. I see another egg ahead Under the fence, it was spotted. There is an egg In a wheelbarrow. It's all white Like a marshmallow. In a birdhouse yellow egg is seen And a blue one with waves in a plant pot, Red egg with mosaic is between A shovel and old iron bucket. How many eggs have I found? Easter Bunny talked about ten gifts. One, two, three, four, five, Six, seven, eight and nine, The last egg remains around! Birds are chirping And flying over my cat, They are showing me where is hidden The last big tenth gold Easter egg. Thank you, my friends, Thank you, Mr. Easter Bunny, I have now One, two, three, four, five, Six, seven, eight, nine, ten colored eggs in my basket!
