Yellow Color

Yellow Color

A Poem by Nika Pronina

There is a big castle in the valley.
There are gardens of yellow pears,
Bright lemons and banana alley.

That castle is a home
For a little princess with the golden hair,
A big yellow crown on her head she wears.

She adores sandwiches  with cheese
And eats with pleasure grilled yellow corn.
Every morning she feeds yellow baby chicks
And quacking ducks with seeds.
A yellow bus takes her from school to home.

The princess water daffodils using yellow watering can,

Buzzing bees fly around and have fun,

She likes jumping in a sunflower field,

Catching the last rays of the Sun!

The little princess follows the yellow brick road,

She goes home with a light heart,

To drink tea with sweet honey

And eat very lemony tart.

When the yellow joyful Sun goes down,
And the yellow moon with bright stars appear,
The little princess goes to bed
And dreams about fresh baked yellow corn bread.

Some visions are just "fun" to build upon... and leave a soft smile behind.
