Make-up On Her Vanity

Make-up On Her Vanity

A Poem by Tee Thee Poet

Make-up on her vanity

Her Dreams are non existent
Her hope has gone...
Her love has died
She has no one
She showers and cries, nobody could tell..
She wants to be innocent again
Make-up on her vanity, red lips that never kiss..
She hates heels with a passion
They remind her of her mother,
A beautiful devil she was
Her phone rings
Not the man of her dreams, he is far,far away
A married man, exposing his fantasy
This is what her life has become..
She slips on her dress, her favorite color
The only thing that gives her hope..
She shuts the door, ready for a trip to hell
She knows this place very well..
But soon she will return
All alone, in her room
With Make-up on her vanity..and red lips that never kiss
