You go to sleep

This gap between us makes me weak.

Did I tell You I was scared to fall asleep?

Here I am

Overdosed on pills

The news brought you to your knees.

Did you know I watch you in your sleep?

There they are

Quiet and confused

As you get lowered down they weep.

We are watching, forever asleep.
