Sin of Lust: Known Sin

The boy's mistake has now been known throughout the school, causing different reactions.

It's out.

My life is ruined-

all because of a small mistake.

It's gone- 

she's gone.

I can no longer stay away-

can no longer save face.

I've been labelled,

outcasted by the girls-

receiving smirks of congratulation 

from the boys.

My ego couldn't stay contained-

and I've donned a mask once again.

Pretendings I'm alright-

pretending I'm okay.

My girlfriend's gone, 

I've made more mistakes,

friendships have been broken. 

So why?

Why has this come my way?

All because I made one small mistake-

I slept with another girl.

And now everyone knows.

Now she knows.

And she's gone.

But even as I wonder still-

one of my friends I've told-

one of the friends that understands me

seems to have been hurt.

I cannot understand

why she still believes in me

even when my girlfriend doesn't-

even when my friends don't.

Why?

She seems to still hang around me

and not ostracize me- like the other girls.

She is still kind

and understands me.

Even when she is also going down 

for keeping my secret.
