Puddled Upon Pillow

Puddled Upon Pillow

A Poem by Nipplegrinder

Chasing sunrises into day
Searching sunsets as night envelopes
Her elusive man ever hides in shapely shadow
His cuffs and collar beyond the silver pale
His bite and marks are certainly on her skin
Yet, invisible
and beyond her
She quakes with the heat of searing
eyelids on cool eyes
Salty tears of lustful longing
leave trails of stinging silence
Puddled upon pillow

Powerful use of description. You made the place and thoughts come alive. Lustful longing for someone missed. Make the night last longer. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
