Reflections

A Poem by Nipplegrinder

When the shadows of sorrow
Cast pall and gain purchase
When the stillness causes shudder
When the gnashing of teeth
Brings pain to jaw
Silence
Silence
Silence
Resounding
Unfurled
Deep as darkness
As black as mirror
Resplendent in silvery stark night
Reflections are and will
Reflections are and still
Reflections be all and are
Reflections are the whys
And the hows
Reflections, now and then

Very vivid imagery. You can feel the pain. Nicely done.
