Another Human Drunk In LoveA Poem by Sophia
I was a fool to think it was me
Ten thousand days of longing in dreams Go back in five, I remember the pain Throbbing inside abd piercing my skin I was a fool to hope it was me Instead you're looking when nobody see Shallow redemptions, sky full of grey I hope to succumb farther in time I was reckless to behave like that Lose myself in the hurricane of love I never meant to I'm sorry I did When all that I want is fall off your grid Take my heart back I'm taking it back Fifty shades of red is all I now see As these tear ducts bleeds out like sea What am I thinking going over here Supposedly I'm not her but me all these years Lastly, I declare I was a fool for love To think I'm capable to be loved I know I'm hard and a bit mysterious But darling you don't have to break me All over again © 2017 SophiaAuthor's Note
