A Distance

A Distance

A Poem by Noc
"

For Amanda

"

Were so close, for so long.

I can hear your heart screaming,

because Im thousands of miles gone.

I awake from my dreaming.

Sitting here alone,

with only your picture.

Stuck in my own zone.

To you I wish to venture.

I feel what you feel.

Your touch is my crutch.

The length is our strength.

Our bond is so strong.

My love your my dove,

its just a distance.

Just wanted to say hey,

Im still okay.

I just think about you,

through the whole damn day!

I talk to your voice on the phone.

Your allways smilling in my mind,

yet we both feel so alone.

Our world Im afraid, is unkind.

But I know we will make it.

Just try to hang on.

Its so hard to take it.

The sun will rise in the dawn.

I feel what you feel.

Your touch is my crutch.

The length is our strength.

Our bond is so strong.

My love your my dove,

its just a distance.

Just wanted to say hey,

Im still okay.

I just think about you,

through the whole damn day!

I realize, Im not alone after all.

We have been through so much.

I know you will catch my fall.

I feel healed by just your touch.

It all seems unreal,

that this happens to us.

The love in our hearts we feel,

and makes this pain into dust.

Love. It. I can feel the distance but with love, there is no distance. I think your niche is lyrical poems.
