Painful Questions

Painful Questions

A Poem by Nolan Fisher
"

what would happen if I wasn't here tomorrow? I'm sure everyone has asked that question, well... so have I.

"
What would you do
If I left today?
What would you do
If I wasn't here tomorrow?
What would you do
If the blade cut too deep?
What would you do
If I was laid to sleep forever?

How would you feel
If you never saw me again?
How would you feel
If you knew my pain?
How would you feel
If you were in my shoes?
How would you feel
If you were all alone in the darkness?

Would you weep for me?
Would you laugh at me?
Would you understand me?
Or would you just hate me?

If I left today
Would there be tears tomorrow?
If I wasn't here tomorrow
Would you truly miss me?
If the blade cut too deep
Would follow in my footsteps?
And, if I was laid to sleep forever
Would you forget me in time?

Would you weep for me?
Would you laugh at me?
Would you understand me?
Or would you just hate me?

Author's Note

Nolan Fisher
Note that I am not thinking about doing anything like this in real life, and for the writers out there, then they know that whatever comes to your mind is what is written. I have never thought of going through with suicide, so please do not worry about me. I am just a writer, and whatever I write, is what I write... nothing more.
