Requited

Requited

A Poem by Nomen

When you touch me, the perfected scent of you,
fingertipped on my soul,
lingers like the evening sun and smells of all springs glory,

awakening me into a new dawn of ecstacy.

The kiss you gently touch upon my lips,
down to my hips,
races like a stream in a bolt of lightening,

surging up energy that I cannot confine

You make me feel life
and you make me want life
You mix me up

When you are gone, I cannot forget you,
but when you are here, I cannot reach you,
and these traces of love burn a hole through my soul,

letting goodness escape and evil to entertain

I must let go
yet I keep wanting you back
And you keep coming back
