The Jester Said In Jest.

The Jester Said In Jest.

A Poem by Nouri-Blake

Do you laugh at the jester or with him?
I'm not trying to paint an image,
Of man asking for forgiveness
I was just, asking for a friend.

Do you laugh at the Jester or with him?
I'm not saying he's a sinner,
But there's something dark within him
I'm just, asking for a friend.

Do you laugh at the Jester Or With Him?
For underneath those gimmicks,
There must be something living
I'm just, asking for a friend.

See my Friend is a Jester,
He's jesting all the time,
And once you see past the facade,
It's clear that he's not fine.

Yes what lies beneath a facade, a mask, a smile, but maybe pain, sorrow, grief, torment, one just never knows but there is always intent behind the jester. Nice write!.
