Purpose

Purpose is not a going or a coming

It is not a has been or will be

Purpose rests squarely in a time and place

All things are more than just themselves

They are their becoming

simply to be is to become

Purpose is written

It is the almost and the just about

it is the touch of the tips of our fingers

It is the grasping at nothing and finding something

it is the prize worth getting

but never having

if you should hunt down your purpose

and cage it beneath your hands

you would open your palms to find it farther than ever
