if you could write your own story

what would it be?

would you scream it from the mountain tops;

sing it from a tree?

would you put it in a dance,

or would you write it--pen in hand?

would you dive with your thoughts so deeply into unknown water,

not even fish would bother?

would you take back times of hurting;

erase memories that are disturbing?

would you replace them with joy and smiles,

or would you keep it all the same because that's how you're inspired?

what if i told you that you get to write your story?

first you must know, never allow fear to write your tale

because when fear is in control all of your feelings are impaired

when fear is in control,

your story gets abused,

your story gets confused

when you overcome the fear

writing your story becomes more clear

you can shout it from wherever

you can share it with whoever

you can keep it to yourself

you can write it in a book and stick it on the shelf

when you choose to write your story

enjoy the wander

never hurry
