Together

Together

A Poem by Keith Terry
"

A poem of simplicity.

"
Grab my hand and walk with me
As we slowly run our intertwined hands through the soft breeze
They swing back and forth
Everything is alright
Everything is fine
The moment never ends
Serenity
Our hands touch the top of grass growing in a field
Delicate fingers and soft hands balance my battle-worn soul
We walk through town and the busy streets call to us
We continue to cling together, surrounded by people
Making sure that we never come apart
We cross the front of the school where I first laid eyes upon you
And I take you in, to the exact room where we met
I offer you nothing more than what I can give
Eternity
