A Poem by Nykkiicia Cion

I like that about you…
Biting lips as soft as rose petals
The whisper of midnight lashes
On high sculptured mahogany cheekbones
A slight lift of corners worried
By tiny luminescence

I like that about you…
Hard little points on the softest mounds
Straining against confinement
As arms rise above head
Taut midsection begs a kiss
Unaware of silent explosions

I like that about you…
Supple compliance under insistent mouth
Little moans meant to cause upheaval
Come in sharp, soft gasps of breath…
The whisper of midnight lashes
On high sculptured cheekbones
In deep sleep

I like the words you put in to the poem like the word "luminescence"
But it really didn't pull me in
But it is a sweet poem
But not my favorite

Wow,
I must have missed something, as far as scary, and terrifying love poems. This was a sensual, controlled passion love poem. Excellently done. Rain..

This poem is frightening. Possibly one of the creepiest love poems I've ever read. Truly awesomely terrifying.

I have to agree that the repetition of "i like that about you" does indeed complement the poem nicely. The intricate description of the lover's person is tacitly erotic yet wholesome. The overall tone and mood of the poem invites the reader to bask in the pleasure that is the admirer's lover. Nicely executed, very good poem.

I like your repetition here. The images are very concrete and sexy. This feels like a snapshot of another person. It's very visual.

That is really good...expressive and evocative...I like it a lot!
