On 'Em All the Time

On 'Em All the Time

A Poem by ObscurityNone
"

Preventable, lamentable.

"

Much to the surprise

As though talent leaks from one

The hands held down and restrained

By this which regards some

Unmoving, can’t shift, can’t melt away

Force if you must

It will not break

Entirety of a whole, residing on such

Instrumental attuned

Blinded by comfort

Succumb to the covet

Indifference prevent a thing

Careless separate again

Let it raise, let it be free

Coming back down onto the stone

Carving it in true, just for you

Sitting on ‘em

Binding the course of all things to come

Laden to a jaded sick

Forever twisted world

Nothing comes, nothing does

Something always and will always be a was

I am on ‘em, just like it will be

Time and time again

Preventable cause for nothings to arise

A blatant lack there of

Simple, simple, simple

In the mind it truly lies

Given mastery of one self, some come alive

All matters not, for I am on ‘em all the time.
