[Hazelnut Suspicions]

[Hazelnut Suspicions]

A Poem by panheadpigments

When the pain leads to scars.

When it threatens suicide.

You know that she needs love.

Her heart burns for truth,

and where it abides.

~

Her old ballet slippers,

hanging from the closet door.

Beaten and ratty,

just like her soul.

Her emotions so sore.

~

She can't feel beautiful,

If she's covered with greif.

Her nightmares,

haunt her as she sleeps.

Her tears turn black,

as she weaps.

~

She watches with pain,

as all other girls smile.

She scowls, as she,

only feels hatred,

and jealousy.

Her compassion like bile.
