Toxic Poisoning

Toxic Poisoning

A Poem by Mary E. Green
"

Something I came up with a while ago.

"
Feeling so toxic
Realizing everyone I touch, falls
I try not to see that there is nothing good about me
Look at the positive is what I am told
You wouldn’t know I feel like just a virus waiting to spread
Once you have been infected
The poison seeps into your veins
You may think I’m a blessing
You may think I’m an angel
You do not realize until too late
The curse that is tied to my name
Causing such ungodly ties
When all I want is to follow him
Scared of the punishment for what I am
Not understanding what have I done
To cause such havoc, such pain?
Feeling so mixed up
As I drown in a sea of my own self blame
Mistake after mistake
Choice after choice
Will I never learn?
