Memories

Memories

A Poem by Mary E. Green
"

For my mawmaw, pawpaw, & granny. RIP You will be forever missed.

"

We've shared alot of memories as the years
have gone by
Memories of happiness, sorrow, anger, and
pain
There are memories of Thanksgiving dinners
and Christmas get togethers
Simple ones which seem so little hold a
special place in our hearts, from old conversations to new pictures
Then there are memories of joy, laughter,
smiles, and tears which we have shared
And memories of loneliness, sadness, hurt,
and confusion stay with us
But now is the time, we're getting ready to
say goodbye
The making of memories are about to leave
But we will stand by each other
Knowing that we will get through it all
