Virtue and DemiseA Poem by Ohhhwillow11/9/12 This is of war, killing and compassion. The people we know can turn to arms for the wrong reasons and leave what they love behind
Retribution reigns the knees of anaemic men,
their swords held high veil futurity and the blood upon their hands hides those once reduced, by rapture - amities sweet suffocation. Tender lover, you drop from virtue, father and brother, you fall. Though sand does whisper, winds will scream your silent consequence, Your child's torn blanket, your deafening dereliction In every light, in every night you touch what you once took.
