Neither My Master Nor My Lover

 

I’m left here all alone

Crying from all my pain.

My arms are covered in cuts

But even that doesn’t make the pain go away.

You left me here

To die alone and unwanted.

Did you ever love me?

Or was it just to play with my emotions?

I adored you and your smile

But now I’d rather die than see you.

Your smile is a faint blur

Just as you have become.

I hope you’ll be happy

Once I’m dead and away from you.

Maybe you won’t come to my funeral

Or maybe you’ll be smiling at it.
