I want you to wrap your arms around me

And tell me everything is okay

When I cry

You wipe my tears away

Never being harsh to me

Or telling me there’s nothing to cry about

I miss your voice so near

But now when I hear your voice I fear

What might happen to me or you

You worry about me

But I’ll be fine

You make me feel better with just a hug

But when you leave I feel terrible again

When you come back

All I was to do is run into your arms

And let all my troubles go away

Whether it never be forever

I want to break my chains

To be in your arms for now and ever

Having you near is my comfort

But then you have to leave

I try to deny my hurting

But having you with me always brings it back

This hurt never goes away

But the pain never goes away
