SIN-Sinking Into Nothing

This was a piece a wrote when I started my journey of spiritual growth.

She’s a beauty at a glance,
A goddess who turns all she touches into ashes
A master manipulator,
Capable of deceiving an entire generation,
An enemy of all that’s good
I’m I as one man to battle this formidable foe?
Who shall I call on to save me from myself?

I will cast her out from existence with the Word,
A power given me by He who was before time
This body is no longer yours to sway,
This temple is inhabited by a king,
It’s a slave to no one
