In the place I found myself, meaningless conversations were being given away to everybody. Free advices were hanging on the shop windows and free-of-complexes sacks were flashing their smiles. The paving stones were fighting down the streets, moving away from one another under the ladies’ heels. I liked this fairy tail because of its plausibility.
In the great concentration of the material world the ones accused of fetishism were silent, and the objects talked. Every Sunday freaks were buying love, but by Monday they had it poisoned. The lamps did not like it. Their lower jaw hung down at the sight of the little corpses, and their buzzing, sunny tongues became scarlet hot. Gaily-colored butterflies, with wound up springs, flew to and fro and creaked occasionally. The clocks ticked twelve. At that moment the church bells called for lunch. A whole nation was just having lunch. There were no people in this exciting country, except a personage who resembled a wadded rag. Once he or she had desires, but never dreams. He looked miserable and dirty. “I am a hero, because I am three-phased” he often used to say. In the morning he was born, died in agony during the day, and resurrected every night. When asked what is better, being dead or alive, he would always answer smiling through his tears:
“Being resurrected, because you’re dead and alive at the same time”.
The dirty warms, sodden with human tears, were having their feast again. They liked the rain of sorrow - their lunch too. A big whole with big opening is for better a taste.
