{Green Compass}

 

 

A gallon of ashes,

conviction of issue,

a dab of grand etiquette,

disdain smudging lashes.

 

A drop of amazement,

a sprinkle of resistors,

gesture stuffing plunges,

dependably smooth blisters.

 

A sketch of brilliance,

capable equation-

a flossy aviation.

 

Fragile atlas,

a speckle of honest wager-

umbrella toils,

the ambush on ushered soils.

 

Compass envelopes direction

eradicating expedient fail,

heart rain habits stormy

disappearing but the sun

of harp sets hostel sail.

 

A hundred miles to go plus some,

the wicker plaza closes in.

A book of astonish,

a plate of forestry,

fabulous successes tame kin.

 

"You Are Loved" are the signal whirls,

around and around the ship twirls.

 

Boxed and sealed,

broken and healed.

Realists and dreamers,

quiet and gleamers.

The picture shimmers

and the fire simmers.

 

"We Are One" culprits candid,

finding our way as people

caught red handed.

 

Green as grass

and spending money,

the composition sunny.

I liked it. Went together nicely, flowed quite well. Loved the image you put with it. Sometimes pictures really do speak a thousand words, but if that's so, poetry speaks a billion
